Bishop Briggs Sells Polaroids To Raise Money For LGBTQ Freedom Fund

4th Annual Women's March LA: Women Rising

Back in April, Bishop Briggs gauged fans' interest in selling personal polaroid photos to raise money for charity. The response was a resounding YES, and the singer-songwriter was able to raise over $7,000 for COVID-19 relief in 60 seconds (!!!). The fundraiser went so well that she decided to do another one, this time benefiting an LGBTQ charity. And just like the first, Briggs' photos sold out in no time.

"& just like that u guys SOLD OUT the extra polaroids I found," the "Champion" singer announced on Instagram. "100% of your donations will go to the LGBTQ FREEDOM FUND 🏳️‍🌈 In the United States, LGBTQ people are 3x more likely to be jailed. The LGBTQ Freedom Fund helps secure the safety and freedom of people who may not otherwise be able to afford their bail. THANK YOU ALL. You inspire me every day 🥺"

See Briggs' post below.

Briggs has been active on social media since quarantine began. Aside from raising money for charity, the 27-year-old shared a joyful cover of "Oh Happy Day" to help ease fans' minds during these trying times, released a new song with Moby Rich about friendship, and vulnerably reflected on the earlier part of her career in a message to her younger self.
